Server management platform

Server management platform — every server on one dashboard, with SSH, metrics and deploys.

NIP Platform is a server management platform for bare-metal and virtual hosts: SSH-based operations from the dashboard, live metrics, agent-based heartbeat, zero-downtime deploys and built-in security posture management.

What this means

Server management — without a separate ops tool per server.

A server management platform replaces the patchwork of SSH terminals, Ansible playbooks, monitoring dashboards and backup scripts most teams glue together. Everything for a server is in one tab: SSH session, live metrics, deploys, backups, security posture, audit log.

NIP Platform supports bare-metal hosts and VMs equally — register a server with one SSH key, the agent comes up and the host shows up in the dashboard.

What you get

Server management capabilities

01

SSH from the dashboard

Web terminal, command palette, scripted operations. Every session audit-logged.

02

Live metrics

CPU, memory, disk, network, processes, services. Prometheus + Grafana wired up out of the box.

03

Zero-downtime deploys

Per-site lock, healthcheck, rollback. GitHub / GitLab webhook integration.

04

Audit-trail + RBAC

Every operation logged. Role-based access: who can SSH, deploy, restart what.

Rollout

Server onboarding in 3 steps

01
Register

Add host, paste SSH key. The platform sets up the agent automatically.

02
Configure

Tag the server (env, role, tenant), assign roles, set protection level.

03
Go live

Live metrics, audit log, deploys ready. Backup + monitoring auto-provisioned.

Frequently asked questions

Server management — questions

Do we need an agent on every server?

For basic SSH + metrics no — the platform connects over SSH and reads metrics via standard system tools. For advanced features (file sync, backup, on-host AI tasks) a lightweight Go agent is auto-installed.

Can the platform manage existing servers?

Yes. Register any host with an SSH key; the platform takes inventory of existing services, packages, users, firewall rules. No reformatting needed.

How is access controlled?

Tenant + role-based access. Every SSH session, deploy, restart and config change is audit-trailed. Two-person approval available for production hosts.

Does it work with VMs as well as bare-metal?

Yes — bare-metal hosts, XCP-ng VMs, cloud VMs (EC2, GCP, Azure) all show up in the same inventory.
