DevOps control plane

DevOps control plane — deploys, servers and monitoring on one auditable dashboard.

NIP Platform is a DevOps control plane for teams that want one auditable surface for everything between Git and prod: zero-downtime deploys, server + VM inventory, CI/CD webhooks, monitoring, backups and security posture — Kubernetes-native, self-hosted or managed.

What this means

DevOps control plane — what does it cover?

A DevOps control plane (or internal developer platform / IDP) is the one tool the team uses to deploy, monitor, secure and audit production. It connects the CI/CD pipeline, the server inventory, the monitoring stack and the access controls.

NIP Platform is built K8s-native and supports both pure-K8s and bare-metal hosts. The IDP layer is opinionated enough to deploy out-of-the-box, but flexible enough to plug into existing CI pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Drone, Circle).

Capabilities

What a DevOps control plane gives you

01

Deploy pipeline

GitHub Actions / GitLab CI webhook → NIP deploys with per-site lock, healthcheck, rollback.

02

Server + VM inventory

Bare-metal + VMs + K8s nodes on one inventory, one audit trail.

03

Observability

Prometheus + Grafana + Loki wired up. Pre-built dashboards per service.

04

Security posture

Auto-provisioned protections, weighted score, compliance reports.

Rollout

How a DevOps control plane is rolled out

01
Cluster + inventory

K8s cluster + bare-metal + VM hosts registered.

02
CI webhook

GitHub Actions / GitLab CI webhook → NIP deploy pipeline.

03
Observability

Prometheus + Grafana + Loki dashboards per service.

04
RBAC + audit

Roles, two-person approval on prod, audit trail enabled.

Frequently asked questions

DevOps control plane — questions

Is this an IDP (internal developer platform)?

Yes — that is the broader category. NIP Platform is opinionated enough to deploy quickly, but flexible enough to plug into the CI tools you already use.

Do we have to replace our CI pipeline?

No. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Drone, CircleCI keep building; the webhook lands on NIP, which handles the deploy lock, healthcheck, rollback and audit.

GitOps?

Yes — NIP can be the agent that watches a Git repo and reconciles state on a fleet of servers or K8s clusters. Flux + Argo CD also supported on top.

Production safety?

Per-site deploy lock, healthcheck-driven rollback, two-person approval for prod, rate-limited deploys, audit-trail of every action.
